My Story
Hi, I’m Nicole, and I started BLIB after moving to Bingley and realising there was nothing nearby in the way of networking that felt like me. I’d experienced the power of networking through my first side hustle in makeup - something I started while still working full time in retail.
That community opened up everything for me. It was through networking that I found the confidence to leave my ten-year career and build a business on my own terms. It gave me not just knowledge and inspiration—but belief in myself. I wanted other women to have that, too but without having to travel into Leeds or bare whiteness to the boring, stuffy, and often awkward atmosphere that many networking events are known for.

"The Community opened up everything for me. Through networking I found my confidence."
So what is BLIB?

We’re a relaxed, high-energy, down-to-earth networking community for female founders who are ready to take things to the next level - without doing it all alone.
We believe:
• That women doubt themselves too much—but are capable of incredible things
• That local connection matters
• That growing a successful business takes community, not just strategy
• In collaboration over competition—there’s space for everyone here
• That warmth, kindness, and zero-judgement should be the standard, not the exception
Our events, membership, and training are designed to help you grow your income and your confidence - with support that lasts long after the event ends.

What makes us different?
We’re not about business card collecting or forced small talk. We focus on meaningful connection and making sure the support continues after the event ends.
Here’s how we do that:
✨ Connection Trackers – to help you remember who you met, what you talked about, and any follow-up actions
📩 Attendee Mini Directories – sent out after events so you can stay in touch, follow each other online, and build real relationships
🗓️ Intentional Event Design – every session (whether it’s coffee and co-working or a VIP Mastermind) is created to spark connection, collaboration, and momentum.
💬 A True Community Vibe – our members lift each other up, cheer each other on, and actually care about one another’s success
What we offer
When you join BLIB, you’re not just attending events - you’re stepping into a community that genuinely wants to see you succeed.
We run a variety of opportunities to help you build meaningful relationships, grow your business, and stay motivated through the ups and downs of self-employment.
From regular connection to strategic support, here’s what’s on offer:

Where we’re going
BLIB started in Bingley, but we know brilliant businesswomen live everywhere—not just in big cities. That’s why we’re expanding into new towns and communities, creating more local spaces where women in business can connect, grow, and be seen.
We’re now opening up franchise opportunities for women who want to lead their own local networking group—with our full support behind you every step of the way.
